Our story

Dr. Upasana Gosalia opened i-Smile in 2012 in Ghatkopar West, a few years after qualifying as a dentist and completing hands-on training in implant dentistry. The idea was simple: a clinic where patients are not rushed, where every step is explained before it happens, and where the dentist who plans your treatment is the one who carries it out.

As the practice grew, i-Smile moved to its current home at Sapphire Business Annexe, by Rajawadi Signal in Ghatkopar East, two minutes from the station. Many of the families who first came to us in Ghatkopar West still make the short trip across, and many of their children are now patients too.

Today the clinic offers everything from six-monthly check-ups to dental implants, clear aligners and smile makeovers, with over 6,500 patients treated, 275+ implants placed and 390+ aligner cases completed.

How we work

Your first visit is a conversation and an examination, not a sales pitch. Dr. Upasana looks, photographs, takes an X-ray only if it will change the decision, and then shows you what she has found on the screen. You leave with options, honest advice on which she would choose for her own family, and a written quote for each.

Treatment is scheduled in appointments long enough that nobody is hurried. Nervous patients, and children, can have a look-only first visit. Evening and Saturday hours mean most people do not have to take leave from work or school.
