Privacy policy
Last updated 19 September 2026
This policy explains what personal information i-Smile Dental Clinic (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why, and how it is handled. It is written to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Who we are
i-Smile Dental Clinic, 103, Sapphire Business Annexe, Near Rajawadi Signal, behind Sejal Jewellers, M.G. Road, Ghatkopar East, Mumbai 400077. Email [email protected], phone 093207 75889.
What we collect
- Appointment requests: your name, mobile number, the treatment you are interested in, your preferred time, and any message you add.
- Technical information: the page you submitted the form from, any campaign identifiers in the link you clicked (for example, which advertisement brought you here), your IP address and browser type. This helps us understand which pages and adverts are useful and to prevent spam.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics and similar tools, which set cookies to measure how the site is used. This data is aggregated and does not identify you to us.
We do not collect health information through this website beyond what you choose to type in the message box. Please do not include detailed medical history in the form; we will take it at the clinic.
Why we use it
- To call or message you back about your appointment request, which is the purpose you shared it for.
- To send appointment confirmations and reminders on WhatsApp or by phone.
- To keep a record of enquiries so we can follow up if we could not reach you.
- To measure and improve the website and our advertising.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to your enquiry.
Where it goes
Appointment requests are stored on our own server and in a private spreadsheet and email inbox used by the clinic's front desk, both hosted by Google. Analytics data is processed by Google and Meta on our behalf. Nobody else receives your details unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for up to 24 months so we can recognise you if you contact us again, then deleted. If you become a patient, your clinical records are kept as required by the Dental Council of India and Indian law.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected] or messaging the clinic. We respond within 30 days. If you believe your data has been mishandled you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies for analytics and advertising measurement. Essential functions of the site, including the appointment form, work without them. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
Children
Appointment requests for children should be made by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 18 through this website.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with an updated date.
